I so love this salon and the people who work here that I decided to become partners with Michael in 2009. My greatest responsibility as co-owner is to ensure that all customers have the best hair experience possible.

I have 14 years experience, but as a team we have over 80 years experience. It’s that partnership that makes our salon unique. You’ll find us constantly conferring with each other to devise that perfect plan of action to achieve your hair vision.

But we don’t believe in “resting on one’s laurels”. That’s what makes this career so exciting. Hair is fashion, and fashion is always changing. We like to take the latest fashions, add our own special touch, and make them work for you.

Michael started his career in New York and has now been in the South Florida area for 10 years. He opened M.Evans Salon in 2003 and has built a successful, professional, fun-loving salon. He is an excellent hair stylist with that rare quality of listening to his customers and then delivering what they want.

Due to his talent, experience, and excellent customer service, he has built a large following. Just ask anybody who’s had the pleasure of sitting in his chair, or working alongside him, and you’ll discover that “everybody loves Michael”.

Lisa joined our family in June of 2010. In this very competitive industry, finding great talent and unparalleled professionalism is truly a gift. Lisa is all of that, wrapped up in this bubbly, funny, happy package. In fact, happy is not a strong enough adjective to describe this vivacious young lady and her enthusiasm is simply contagious.

We are so lucky to have nabbed her from the California market. She brings to her chair that Pacific coast attitude and Hollywood glam that most of us only read about in People magazine. She is technically strong in all aspects of hair color, but has a personal love for highlighting. She is trendy and creative and uses those talents to transform boring hair into a fresh new style with plenty of attitude. And for those special occasions, you can trust her to take that every day style and turn it into something more “out on the town”.

I have 20 years experience as a licensed cosmetologist and have spent the last eight years as a member of the M. Evans Salon team. I am not your average hairstylist. I have great passion for my profession, and continually expand my talents through education. I have studied and trained with some of the top platform artists and educators in the country.

I specialize in all aspects of hair color; dimensional, corrective and conversion. I have extensive experience in many types of texturizing services, ranging from traditional relaxers and perms, to current Keratin Smoothing systems. It’s important to me to educate my clients in the care of their hair and as Salon Products Educator, I am responsible for staying up to date on Industry styling and haircare products.

Beautiful hair is achieved by client and stylist choosing the right cut, color and care for their hair. I stay on top of fashion trends and enjoy creating the latest and greatest cuts and styles for both men and women. I also am very accomplished and experienced in up-do styles for those special events such as weddings, proms, or society events.

My career has been a fulfilling end enjoyable experience, and with no job too big or too small, I look forward to meeting and helping you create that “look” that’s perfect for you.

The team at M. Evans salon would like to introduce to our clients our newest stylist, Yolanda. We feel extremely fortunate to have landed such a treasure. Yolanda specializes in color and chemical services and possesses strong skills in relaxers (including Phyto Specific), anti-curls and is certified in various Keratin/Brazilian treatments. She enjoys doing extensions, up styles and is well trained on the Deva Cut for curly hair. Bi-lingual in Spanish and originally from New York, she worked in Corporate America for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of her profession and takes great pride in her work. Her passion for education and strong sense of professionalism is evident in what she does for her clients. Yolanda’s talent and experience enables her to work on all types of hair. She is very attentive to the client’s needs, offering her artistic opinion and expertise. Her ultimate goal is to see that each client leaves the salon feeling and looking their best!

Michelle joined us in September of 2011, and is fast becoming our “Rising Star”. She is a graduate of the Aveda Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, but has transitioned easily into the Paul Mitchell culture. Michelle is talented, enthusiastic, fun and extremely professional.
